What to Expect

• Please call to schedule appointments. During this call, we can discuss the most effective scheduling options. We can typically image 6-12 patients per visit depending on the complexity of each case.
• During our visit, we will need assistance from one employee who is trained in animal restraint.
• ​We will need an area away from drafts or fans. This can affect the surface temperatures of the patient.
• Images will be available for viewing during the appointments. Our technician will then generate a report for the veterinarian. The final report will be uploaded to the clinic within 24 hours. 
• We can also work with veterinarians to interpret the images if desired.
• Our goal is to make this process as smooth and helpful as possible!

How can thermal imaging help?

Thermography acts as an enhancement to your vision and touch. It often helps to detect medical issues that you might not otherwise find on a routine physical exam. Negative findings in thermal imaging do not rule out problems, but abnormal findings certainly tell you where to look more closely. Consequently, thermal images can lead to a plethora of information.
